About This Site
This website was created out of admiration for the life and work of Patrick Leigh Fermor—writer, traveler, soldier, and one of the great literary voices of the 20th century. It is intended as a tribute, a resource, and a gathering point for others who share an interest in his journeys, his books, and the rich cultural world he inhabited.
While many wonderful sources exist—biographies, archives, institutions—this site is a personal project. It brings together references, reflections, and curated materials related to PLF’s life, with the aim of celebrating and preserving his legacy for readers old and new.
If you’re just discovering his work, I hope this site encourages you to dig deeper.
If you’re already a long-time admirer, welcome.
